The Service

honak.app is a discovery, ordering, and communication platform for local businesses in Jordan. We connect customers with businesses. We are not a payment processor, not a delivery service, and not a party to transactions between customers and businesses.

Accounts

• One app, two modes — switch between customer mode and business mode with one tap
• A phone number is required to create an account
• You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date
• You are responsible for keeping your account secure
• One account per person. Creating fake or duplicate accounts is not allowed

Business Pages

• Creating and using a business page is free — always
• You must provide accurate business information, product descriptions, and pricing
• Verification is optional and comes in three tiers: Basic (self-service), Verified (document review), and Premium Verified (in-person visit)
• honak.app reserves the right to revoke verification or suspend pages that violate these terms
• Your business type determines which features are available — this is configured by the platform, not the business

Orders & Payments

• honak.app facilitates orders — we show menus, accept order placement, and track status
• Payments go directly between customer and business. honak.app never processes, holds, or touches money
• Businesses configure their own payment methods: CLiq, bank transfer, cash on delivery, or other methods
• Zero commission on orders. Zero Apple or Google fees. We never take a cut of your sales
• Payment disputes are resolved directly between customer and business. honak.app provides messaging tools to help but is not liable for failed or disputed payments
• Businesses are responsible for order fulfillment, delivery, and customer service

Content & Posts

• Businesses own their content — product listings, posts, photos, descriptions
• The feed is chronological. No algorithm decides what you see. You follow, you see everything
• Promoted posts are labeled as 'Promoted' and appear in non-followers' feeds. This is our revenue model — optional, transparent, and clearly marked
• honak.app reserves the right to remove content that violates these terms, is fraudulent, harmful, or illegal
• Users can report businesses or content. Reports are reviewed by the honak.app team

Trust Metrics

• Trust metrics are auto-calculated from real platform activity — not editable by the business
• Different business types show different metrics (reorder rate, response time, delivery speed, etc.)
• honak.app determines the calculation methods and may adjust them to improve accuracy
• Attempting to manipulate trust metrics (fake orders, fake accounts, etc.) is a violation of these terms

Free Service

• Core platform features are free for customers and businesses — forever
• We make money from optional promoted posts and partner placements. That's it
• You will never be charged for: creating a page, listing products, receiving orders, using search, or using the app as a customer
• Future optional premium features (advanced analytics, priority support) may be offered for a fee — but the core platform remains free

Data Ownership

• Your data is yours. Always
• You can export your data at any time — customer lists, order history, analytics
• You can delete your account and all associated data
• No lock-in. Leaving honak.app does not mean losing your data

Prohibited Uses

You may not:

• Create fake business pages or impersonate real businesses
• Engage in fraudulent transactions or misleading business practices
• Manipulate trust metrics through fake orders or accounts
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users or businesses
• Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the platform without permission
• Upload malicious code or attempt to compromise platform security

Limitation of Liability

• honak.app is a platform that connects customers and businesses. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of products or services offered by businesses
• We are not liable for payment disputes, failed transactions, or financial losses between customers and businesses
• We are not responsible for delivery issues, delays, or damages — businesses arrange their own delivery
• We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as the platform evolves. We will notify you of significant changes. Continued use after changes means acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Amman, Jordan.
